Persimmon delivers ten homes at Tiptree site



Persimmon has completed ten new family homes have been completed at the Scarlett Mews on Tiptree ready for those in housing need.


The three and four-bedroom homes are located in the Essex town and will be made available through Park Properties Housing Association (PPHA) to those on Colchester City Council’s housing list.

They will be offered at below market value rent, while further homes being built within the new community will be offered on a shared ownership basis to support those wanting to own their own home.

The homes are part of the first wave of properties to be completed at Scarlett Mews, with a total of 36 due to be built during the initial phase including the 10 affordable homes and 26 for private sale.

Work is due to start on the remainder of the site later this year including a further 29 homes that will also be transferred to PPHA, which is backed by HSPG.
